Firstly it is important to acknowledge that it is your experience and other people's opinions of it do not matter. They weren't there.
If you feel that your experience, or experiences, were something very real to you. Then they were.
If your experience or experiences have had a profound effect upon your life then they have.
Believe in yourself. Only you know what happened to you.
Be very discerning about who you speak to in the press. From my experience many, but not all of them thankfully, are shills and uninformed idiots. Some reporters will print lies and distortions and there isn't a damn thing their newspapers will do about it.
Please read Mary Rodwell's Awakening, available through this website. It was the experiences my partner and I were having that were the catalyst for ACERN, The Australian Close Encounters Resource Network, of which Mary is the principal.
Another good book to read is the brilliantly researched "Supernatural" by Graham Hancock. He regards the 'abduction' experience as a shamanic one that some humans have experienced since the beginning.
It is wise to remain open to the possibilities of what your experiences mean to you.
